Kissed In A Dream, as if we could reconstruct the soul that never had control of life
Moving through the shadows wishing with all my heart that you were again my wife
But everything changed & the broken pieces were swept away so that denial could set in
Kissed In A Dream where sunlight makes promises it cannot keep as this ghost devours all your sin
Slowly moving deeper under the covers in order to escape the reality of the dead poets theme
Lost forever in this solitude & Kissed In A Dream

Beneath the bluest skies ever seen, a poets heart not worth keeping
Inbetween the memories that cut me deeper than I care to ever explain or dare to say
The wasted beauty of my words & your choice to push me farther away.....
A Far Better Place for the fool who dreamed that you would come back & stay
My understanding is much more than experience, but somehow you already know this
Took full advantage of a romance you never really had & you stole my soul with a kiss
And within this wreckless chaos of sleepless turmoil & the tragedy of a lonely poet who loved too much
Beneath the levels of darkness where I cope to face the fears that haunted me & the memory of touch

And who is to really say what it means to be a man, or to lose all my pride
Could you understand why I would hide behind a lie knowing what I went through
Following the words of the poet you always loved & knowing, I Still Dream Of You
I refuse to chase the heart which no longer pursues me, & this alone is a choice you have made
There is nothing & no one that matches what I feel for you, this lonely king is beginning to fade
I once began to confide in the comfort of the light because I thought you truly wanted me....
And yes, I still Dream Of You, going blind in one eye, but your beauty I will always see

But remember this, it was your lonely heart which called me back for reasons only you know
Am not a one eyed angel with second sight & you need to know the silence has damaged me
I Have No Wings to carry me home, when you lay awake at night, I know what you see
I am not here for your blame because deep inside the answers are behind your eyes
I Have No Wings in order to find what you call light, look within yourself before you talk of lies
Who could ever believe in the sweetest voice from a dead angel that no longer appears or sings
Words given to console the fool but it was only betrayal & it is true that I Have No Wings

Devoted To Her Light & the reminder of her soft voice & the agony of passions thirst
Before you lay your head to rest my sweet girl, find your way back into this broken heart
Listen to the spoken word of a gentle man who sits alone in the kingdom of sorrow
Devoted To Her Light the moment her eyes were upon me, the truest love I ever knew
Hypnotized by the way her soft sigh would lull me as she said "I Love You"

When my life is over this heart & soul are forever yours, this poets dream wil never die
And it seems fate has kept us apart, but my only wish is to be Awakened By A Sigh
The unfinished poem is a message of love to say how much you always meant to me
Awakened By A Sigh & kissing your face & the brightest light of beauty that made me free
I have waited for you because nothing in this life ever made me feel this way
Even beyond death this heart will never let you go, but I have something more to say....
In the secret ability to understand the concept of true love, I guess deep inside I always knew
The one girl who saw through the mask & cradled the lonely child, my heart belongs to you
